We have lots of different opportunities to “Say Yes to the Lord!” This is a list of the following volunteer opportunities our church provides with a brief synopsis of each ministry. More detailed information will be provided this Sunday at the volunteer fair!

*Ushers – Distribute the bulletin before service, taking up the offering during service.

*Freezer friends – Making and or delivering meals to those in need.

*Altar Guild – Maintain pencils and restock envelopes & pamphlets in pew racks as needed.

*Women’s Retreat – Help plan and coordinate activities and attend the women’s retreat.

*Communion Servers – Serve communion in the sanctuary and/or chapel.

*Preparation of the Elements – Preparing the elements for communion.

*Evangelism – Help plan/coordinate activities for block party, parades, church picnic, Rose Festival, etc.

*Liturgy – Read the ‘Call to Worship’ and scripture during church service.

*Greeters – Welcome members and visitors to the church.

*Mission Committee – Reaching out to local, regional, and international missions of our church.

*Prayer Card – Writing cards to those in need of prayer.

*Prayer Shawl – Knitting and/or crocheting of shawls for those in need.

*Choir – Participate in singing to and with the congregation.

*Orchestra and Bells – Playing an instrument or bell during service(s).

*Library – Help organize books and Sunday school book/DVD’s series for class studies.

*Hosting – Keeping the kitchen in order and assess pantry inventory.

*Office Volunteers – Assist office staff with a variety of tasks.

*Advent/Night Out Against Crime – Work various booths at one or both events.

*Café Duty – Serving the meal at Faith Break on Wednesday.

*Bread Delivery – Delivering bread and welcoming visitors of our church.

*Bereavement Dinners – Helps prepare and serve a meal to church members and families before or after a funeral service.
