Children’s Ministry education opportunities take place at 9:45 am and 11 am.
Childcare is provided for each service at 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11 am.
Children are placed in classes based upon their age as of September 1st of the current year. Children may attend one or both hours, depending upon the family’s worship pattern. Check out our variety of opportunities below.
First Care Child Care – Birth-Pre-K
8:30am, 9:45am & 11:00am– Families attending church activities are invited to use our childcare program. Children are cared for in safe environments, with age appropriate lessons, crafts, activities and playtime. We use a kiosk check-in system for childcare.
*Kindergarteners are welcome to childcare during the 8:30am service
K3 – Kindergarten-3rd Grade
9:45am– We offer traditional grade level Sunday School classes during this hour. All grades gather in KidSpace at the beginning of the service to enjoy social time and to participate in K3 Choir. Grades then break out into classrooms for Sunday School lessons and return to KidSpace for dismissal or transition to the next service.
11:00am– All children attend the beginning of the worship service in the sanctuary. Children can either be escorted from Kidspace to the sanctuary or they may join the group following the Children’s Moment with the Pastor. After the children return to Kidspace, Jeanine Varvel leads KidsPraise, which includes a lesson, as well as social and play time.
45– 4th and 5th Grade
9:45am & 11:00am- During these times, 4th & 5th graders combine for traditional Sunday School classes. Students report to classroom 230 upstairs after checking in at Kid Check, our check-in system.
We ask that students attend only one Sunday School hour (either 9:45am or 11:00am) and one hour of worship service with their families.
