Discovery Learning Center is a weekday preschool and kindergarten program designed to provide a Christian environment in which children can develop their individual and unique potential socially, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and physically.

A loving, caring environment allows development of positive self-esteem. Group cooperation and sharing are encouraged. Learning centers provide developmentally appropriate opportunities for learning. Areas we emphasize are pre-reading skills, math and science concepts, language development, dramatic play, creative art and music. Our professional staff is carefully selected for their educational background, early childhood training, preschool experience and their sensitivity to the individual needs of young children. Private kindergarten is offered as a transitional class or a traditional kindergarten program. Class size is small, allowing for individualized attention. Discovery Learning Center meets in the FUMC Children's and Activity Buildings.

Summer Kids Kamp (SKK)

Discovery Learning Center also offers Summer Kids Kamp (SKK)for children from 12 months through completion of third grade during a 3 week period each summer.

10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
