ADULT CHOIRS

FUMC invites singers of all levels to join either of our two adult choirs. Rehearsals are fast-paced and fun. We enjoy a terrific time of praise and fellowship as part of each practice and worship service. Occasionally, the Chapel and Chancel Choirs combine for special performances.

Our adult choirs are active in ministry both during worship and beyond the Church walls. Some of our activities include an annual spiritual renewal retreat, mission and service projects, and occasionally, singing the Star Spangled Banner at area sporting events! 

Chapel Choir
The Chapel Choir sings in our 8:30 a.m. worship service.
Rehearsal: Sundays 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., SB 105

Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir sings in our 11:00 a.m. worship service.
Rehearsal: Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., SB 105 

Child care is available during choir rehearsals.

JOYFUL RINGERS HANDBELL CHOIR

This five octave bell choir performs one Sunday each month from September through May. The group also participates in the annual TulsaFest ringing festival. Our music is challenging and rewarding for all.

The Joyful Ringers are under the direction of Kent Ruppert. If you are interested in ringing with us, contact Kent at 251-8439.

ORCHESTRA

If you play an instrument and want to share your gifts in a fellowship of Christian musicians, then FUMC's orchestra is the perfect place for you! We meet year-round and usually perform in the traditional worship services on the fourth Sunday of each month.

RIVER ROCKS PRAISE BAND

River Rocks Praise and Worship Team provides musical and worship leadership at our 9:45 a.m. contemporary service called "The River."  Our goal is to "Refresh, Renew and Release The Power."  If you are an instrumentalist or singer and want to be a part of River Rocks Praise and Worship Team, please contact Jay Prine at 224-2143 or by e-mail at prine@fumcba.org.

Rehearsal: Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., Sanctuary

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS

Kingdom Kids (K-2nd grade) and Flame Force (3rd-5th grade). Both choirs meet Sunday mornings during the 9:45 Sunday School hour and also Wednesday evenings during Faith Break.

We sing the same music at both times so that if the child attends only Sunday or Wednesday they are ready to sing with Kingdom Kids or Flame Force during worship and special events.

ten72 YOUTH CHOIR

The ten72Youth Choir is for ALL youth in grades 6-12.  We sing a wide variety of anthems and praise music and perform in worship each month throughout the school year, as well as in occasional special services.  We have choir retreats at Camp Egan, mission concerts and outings to Big Splash and other fun places.  In addition to great music and close friends, we enjoy a time of prayer and fellowship as part of each rehearsal.  ten72 Youth Choir is directed by Rev. BREATH OF HEAVEN LITURGICAL DANCE

The Breath of Heaven Dancers are an interpretive dance group using liturgical dance and ballet. We dance to contemporary Christian music. All girls in 9th-12th grades are welcome to participate. Dance experience is not required.

DRAMA TEAM

We have a place saved just for you!!! We perform throughout the year; our casts include church members, guest artists, experienced performers and beginners. Rehearsal time is scheduled by the director. If you are interested, please give me a call.
